Only by connecting the dashcam directly to the fuse box will it receive continuous power (even in parking mode).

The D2 Pro connects directly to your fuse box with a special hardwire cable. This ensures the camera always has a small amount of power, even when your car is turned off. In parking mode, the LCD screen turns off completely and the processor largely switches to a low-power state. Only the shock sensor (G-sensor) remains active, so the camera uses minimal power and doesn't drain your battery.
