Installation requirement
Only by connecting the dashcam directly to the fuse box does it get continuous power (including in parking mode).
The D2 Pro is connected directly to your fuse box with a special hardwire cable. This means the camera always has a small amount of power, even when your car is switched off. In parking mode the LCD screen turns off completely and the processor largely enters a low-power state. Only the shock sensor (G-sensor) stays active, so the camera draws minimal power and your battery will not go flat.
